My husband and I really like ordering to go from here. Our go to is the black pepper beef, double mushroom with egg tofu, sautéed green beans, and honey walnut shrimp. I would also occasionally order their soy sauce chicken, black vinegar jelly fish cold dish, and sweet and sour pork. They also do the lobster noodle to go, but they don't have lobsters smaller than 2.5lbs and you'll have to pay extra to add the noodles. Overall, the food has always been consistent so I'll continue to come back when I'm feeling some Chinese food.

My parents highly recommended this place off Colima. They have renovated and replaced the old restaurant that used to be here. The decor is modern with touches of wood. They have a private dining room for 8. We came on a Monday afternoon. There was no wait. Service was not bad. There was a poster on the door advertising their buy 1/2 chicken get 1/2 free. Honestly, I did not care for the chicken. The poor chicken was anemic. There were lots of bones and very little meat. I would not get this dish again! Their salty kailang fried dumpling was very good. It was crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside. I'm not sure what's in it but it was good. The congee was good but small. The shrimp roll was perfect. Perfect portion and cooked just right. Their beef chow fun was lacking in beef but the noodles were good. My favorite dish was their eggplant in garlic sauce. It came out in a clay pot. It was super hot but not spicy. I could've eaten the whole thing myself!

If you are Chinese and currently lives in Rowland or Diamond Bar, then you've most likely been to KW cafe. The prices are higher than most cafes in the area and if you've read some of their Yelp reviews, their service sucks and the wait for a table takes forever, but their food is actually really darn good! I've been here for breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, and celebrations in their private rooms (birthdays and Lunar NY) and I've never had ever a bad experience. My mom actually comes here at least once a day (she is addicted to this place) so she is friends with staff, therefore I've never seen the waiters rude with bad attitudes. Parking could be bad depending on the time of day of your visit. The restaurant itself is pretty big with private rooms and outdoor covered patio seating. They do close earlier than most restaurants so make sure to double check the hours before heading there. 9/10 - highly recommended!

KW Cafe is one of the top HK cafes in all of Los Angeles. Their ongoing buy 1/2 chicken and get the other 1/2 free keeps me coming back again. Like most people you dine there for breakfast or lunch then you order the 1/2 chicken (get the remaining 1/2 free) and bam you have dinner as well. They have enough space for large family dinners. Huge selection of classic cantonese food and we're very impressed with the king crab and the rest of the seafood dishes we ordered. You must order ahead of time (a few business days) and price is affordable compared to other HK restaurants. So many options from the menu that you can't go wrong. Service can be spotty - there's definitely ones that are more responsive than others. You just need to know which one to wave down.

Awesome place - probably one of top Hong Kong cafes in the area! Highly recommend their roast duck - one of the better places where the meat is juicy and the skin is crispy compared to other places. Other things worth mentioning include Honey Walnut Shrimp, Fried Calamari, etc. Their clay pot rice and cucumber cold dish wasn't as good as other places I've been to - but still reasonable given that all their food are good. Service is good, and the atmosphere is nice as they have a large space. Come early because there can be a long wait!

Pricier than most HK/Western-style restaurant but you get great ambience in an tastefully elegant dining room in which to chow down the roast duck (excellent, not greasy), white & brown chicken (super good, definitely a 'happy' chicken when it was alive), and beef brisket lo mein (THE BEST version I've ever had in the SGV.) Beautiful menu, good service, quietly efficient waitstaff. No dim sum or lunch specials here folks, just the best HK-style comfort food in a beautiful restaurant. My compliments to the chef.
